The FG NORDISCHE STAATEN
gives advice and support to it's members research work which covers all aspects of the philately of the Skandinavian Countries. In addition it encourages and promotes links with individuals, groups and societies throughout the world.

MEMBERSHIP
is open to any German resident who is a member of a group affiliated to the German Philatelic Association (BDPh) or a direct member of the BDPh. It is also opten to anyone living outside Germany and belongs to a group or organisation affiliated to the FIP.

SUBSCRIPTION
As of January 2025 the annual subscription stands at 48,00 EUR. The initial subscription is payable immediately on joining and therafter annually by the 31st March of that year.

THE COORDINATORS AND MEMBERS OF THE STUDY GROUPS
through the medium of the PHILATELISTISCHE NACHRICHTEN give out information about their areas of interest and the results of their researches in addition to advice on building up specialist collections.

PRINTING AND DISTRIBUTION OF HANDBOOKS AND CATALOGUES
Members seeking to have their work published can apply to the Society for the financing of the printing and distribution.

THE WIKINGERBERICHTE
contained notes on articles connected with Nordic philately which appear in philatelic journals from around the world in addition to reviews of new literature and catalogues.
After shutdown of our library in March 2025 this service is now no longer available.

NEWS FOR MEMBERS
are part of our PN (Philatelistische Nachrichten) and give details of events within and outside the Society plus information "from members, for members".
