During the festive evening following the General Meeting 2006 the
"Special Award of the Forschungsgemeinschaft Nordische Staaten e.V. for outstanding merits regarding scandinavian philately"
was bestowed for the first time. Honoured was our honorary member and leader of study-group Norway, Mr. Jürgen Tiemer, Altwittenbek. The prize was presented as a porcelain polar bear together with a certificate (pictures, laudation, certificate).
